Account Manager – Apparel

Position Summary:

3STEP Sports, LLC is looking for a highly motivated Account Manager to join our Apparel Sales team.  3STEP Sports is the largest youth sport event and club operator in the nation, providing brands with the ability to impact more athletes than ever in a unique and authentic way. The 3STEP reach spans 40+ states and currently serves more than 2.5 million athletes. We deliver a premier, inspiring and authentic experience – dedicated to perfecting every aspect of the athlete journey. Encompassing industry-leading tournaments, nationally recognized club programs, premier media content and more, 3STEP is the standard of the youth sports experience.

This position will be responsible for the overall management of our accounts in the Club & Travel space ensuring a first class customer experience. The Account Manager will lead communication with our customers, understand customer needs, solve customer problems and ensure a smooth order management process. The Account Manager will also need to meet and exceed sales targets and grow our business.

Objective of the Role

  • Be a business owner. Act as the main point of contact in all matters relating to the needs of our accounts
  • Build and strengthen customer relationships to achieve long-term partnerships
  • Lead onboarding process for owned and new business relationships
  • Maintain accurate records, tracking contract updates and renewals
  • Work with our 3Step ecosystem cross functionally to develop strategic marketing plans, merchandising plans and ensure goals are being met
  • Develop a thorough understanding of our products and service offerings to best tell our company story and advantage
  • Meet and exceed sales and profit targets

Daily and Weekly Responsibilities:

  • Take inquiries and requests from customers and address their needs
  • Communicate with accounts always setting expectations
  • Maintain budgets and communicate progress
  • Meet regularly with other members of the team to discuss progress and find new ways to improve business
  • Generate progress reports and share with all levels of the organization
  • Identify upsell, cross-sell, and renewal opportunities and communicate with the sales team regularly

We are looking for :

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Good attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Self-motivation, determination, creativity, and organizational skills are a must
  • Interest & authenticity in sports is a plus
  • Four-year university degree or equivalent
  • An individual with a growth mindset and a sense of urgency

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1-3 years professional experience in Sales or Customer Service
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding quotas, deadlines and receiving positive customer feedback
  • Proficiency with common customer success and customer relationship management software
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point
