Director of Boys Lacrosse Events

The Director of Boys Events is responsible for selling events, developing relationships, and directing events around the country.

Essential Functions

  • Develop new sales relationships and foster existing sales relationships with Boys Lacrosse Club Directors.
  • Responsible for meeting sales revenue goals for NXT.
  • Responsible for maintenance of PlayerFirst registration platform, including registration of all teams and communications regarding off-line payments.
  • Log all sales communications activity on Copper platform in a timely manner.
  • Assist with Event Operations. Coordinate event operations in the following areas:
  • Tournament Scheduling, Referee Scheduling, Pre-event rules calls, Communication of field usage, divisions and overall schedule to Operations team, Proficiency in Excel preferred
  • Approval of pre-event communications
  • Act as Site Director on Event Days
  • Assist NXT in enforcing the Stay to Play policy for all tournaments.

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office setting as well as at outdoor sporting events. You must be able to stand, kneel, or bend for an extended period of time. Lift up to 25 pounds. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers.

Position Type/ Expected Hours of Work

This position is a Full-Time exempt position. This is a 40 hour a week position. Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Some travel is required.

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree from a 4-year accredited University or College
  • 2 + years of Operations experience
