Event Housing Coordinator

This position is a remote position, with the option of being at the company’s headquarters in Andover, MA.

POSITION SUMMARY

3STEP Sports is seeking an organized and motivated Event Housing Coordinator. In this role, your primary tasks are managing room blocks, managing event hotel website, interacting with guests and clubs to arrange for and book reservations, and execute post-event procedures.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage event hotel website for hotel programs
  • Provide customer service to guests and clubs to secure blocks and reservations
  • Develop and maintain relationships with hotel and technology partners
  • Work with hotels and monitor reservations
  • Deliver excellent service to internal and external customers
  • Collaborate with teammates for continuous improvement of processes and services
  • Execute post-event procedures and invoicing
  • Participate in training and skill development ongoing

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

  • Team player who can work effectively in a fast growing, dynamic environment
  • Demonstrate excellent planning, organizational, and communication skills
  • Housing or Hospitality experience preferred
  • Demonstrate proficiency in event housing software, Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel
  • Demonstrate problem solving skills
  • High energy, passion and drive to be successful
  • Willingness to work occasional non-traditional hours, including nights and weekends
  • Work independently with minimal guidance

POSITION TYPE AND EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK

This is a full-time position. Hours of work are mostly midweek, regular business hours. Occasionally, hours will include evenings and weekends.

TRAVEL

Not required.

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree or other degree in hospitality or similar preferred but not required.

Those with additional experience are welcome to apply for the possibility of a Housing Manager role.
