JOB DESCRIPTION:
As an Event Manager, External Operations, you will assist in the daily external operational tasks of the Events Department at NXT Sports. You will work closely with the Director of Event Operations to manage all event equipment components. Including equipment inventory, equipment rentals, and on-site management for the portfolio of NXT events.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AS AN OPERATIONS MANAGER:
● Assist Director, Event Operations
● Assist in event rental equipment
● Assist in event rental pre-event communication
● Assist the management of event equipment lists
● Assist in managing interns
● Assist in facilitation of shipping and delivery
● Assist in equipment repair & replacement
● Manage equipment inventory
● Manage packing/unpacking of event vehicles
● Manage transportation communications with truck rental company
● Drive company vehicle to and from events
● Lead Event Operations on-site at tournaments
SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
● Support Spring Training
● Support internal managers as needed
QUALIFICATIONS:
● Passion for lacrosse and demonstrated knowledge of the sport, rules, and the recruiting landscape
● Strong self-initiative and ability to multitask in a fast-paced office/warehouse environment with minimal supervision
● Ability to work events and weekends on a regular basis and travel is required
● Clean driving record, practice safe driving, and comfortable driving for long periods of time
● Excellent verbal and written communications; attention to detail
● Willing and able to lift heavy equipment (60 lbs. or more)
