3STEP is designed to give every athlete, parent, and coach involved the premier sport experience. Established in 2001, 3STEP operates more than 1,100 events and dozens of club programs for athletes ages 8-18 spanning 40+ states and across seven sports.

The Facilities Coordinator for 3STEP, under the direction of management, is responsible for coordinating the scheduling of multiple facilities under the umbrella of 3STEP Sports. The scheduling of internal programming for events for all sports through our scheduling software. Other duties will include coverage within facilities based on schedule needs. This is a full-time position, with primary responsibilities of scheduling events and coordinating operations within our facilities.  This individual will have a home base in Wilmington, MA at the company’s headquarters, but will also need to be present at multiple locations owned by 3STEP.


  • In coordination with 3STEP’s Facility Manager, ensure a safe and secure environment for  participants and staff.
  • Ensure compliance with the State of Massachusetts regulatory standards.
  • At times, will train employees for operational management of the facility.
  • Maintain schedules to proactively and efficiently maintain the occupied space of the facility with minimal disruption.
  • Operate and be knowledgeable of scheduling software. Prepare reports for and communicate with the Director of Facilities Management. Producing preliminary space assignments for review.
  • In conjunction with the Director of Facilities Management, assists with efforts to improve scheduling and calendar applications.
  • Works closely with internal program managers to ensure all events are properly documented and approved in compliance with internal budgets and procedures.
  • Partner with external programs for use of space within multiple 3STEP facilities outside of our internal reservations.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by the Director of Facilities Management.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Must be willing to work nights and weekends with travel and flexible scheduling requirements.
  • Additional Facility Manager duties as deemed necessary from the Director of Facilities Management.
  • In conjunction with the Director of Facilities Management, assure all clients are under contract, have provided the proper paperwork (i.e., certificate of insurance, team rosters, etc.)
Qualifications and Background
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with staff and other organizations.
  • Excellent leadership, management, and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication skills both internally and externally.
  • Patient, enthusiastic, self-controlled, and dependable.
  • Visual and auditory ability to identify and respond to environmental and other hazards related to the activity.
Language Skills
  • Ability to write reports, correspondence, and procedures manuals.
  • Ability to speak effectively with employees, customers, and parents.
  • Ability to effectively present information
Computer Skills
  • Strong skills and demonstrated experience with Microsoft office suite (EXCEL, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with facility scheduling software.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to walk for long periods of time around campus.
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
  • Ability to climb stairs.
  • Ability to sit at a desk working on a computer.
