NXT Boys Showcase Director

Summary/Objective

The NXT Boys Showcase Director will be responsible for the management, staffing and execution of NXT’s individual boys Showcase portfolio under the direction of NXT’s VP of Boys Events Brett Manney. This includes responsibility for identifying and recruiting talented players to participate in the events, and coordinating management of the events.  The five individual events in NXT’s current portfolio are the Boys Philly Fall Showcase, the Boys Philly Summer Showcase, the Atlantic Showcase, the Can-Am Showcase and the Academic Showcase.

Essential Functions

  • Identify talented players and recruit them to attend NXT’s best in class events.
  • Meet revenue goals for each event
  • Coordinate with NXT’s event operations team to operate and execute each event
  • Handle college coach staffing at each event and communicate with college coaches attending events for recruiting purposes
  • Assist in managing events on site
  • Coordinate with operations team on logistics for uniforms and apparel
  • Oversee coordination of event schedules and communication
  • Handle participant customer service issues
  • Work alongside marketing team to prepare participant profiles and social media campaigns

Internal Responsibilities

  • Serve as important member of NXT’s boys events sales team, and assist in other NXT events when necessary

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office setting as well as at outdoor sporting events. You must be able to stand, kneel, or bend for an extended period of time and lift up to 50 pounds. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and camera equipment as well as standard sporting event equipment such as bins, tables and tents.

Position Type/ Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position with general hours from 9 AM to 5 PM Monday through Friday. It is expected to work nights and weekends when club events require it.

Required Education and Experience

Bachelor’s Degree from a 4-year accredited University or College.
