3STEP Sports to Partner with Hoop It Up on Series of 3-On-3 Tournaments

3STEP Sports has partnered with Hoop It Up, to run a series of 3-on-3 basketball tournaments across the country next summer.

ANDOVER, Mass. (NOV. 2, 2022) – 3STEP Sports, the nation’s largest and most impactful youth sports club and event operator, has partnered with Hoop It Up, to run a series of 3-on-3 basketball tournaments across the country next summer.

For the past 30 years, Hoop It Up has been recognized as a leader in 3-on-3 basketball, hosting tournaments throughout the world. Hoop It Up Pro Basketball debuted at the Tokyo Olympics as a medal sport and the company has collaborated with many NBA teams. In 2019, Hoop It Up was acquired by Big Ticket Sports, a company owned by former NBA star Kevin Garnett.

“I am looking forward to partnering with an industry leader such as 3STEP to bring Hoop It Up and 3-on-3 basketball across the country,” said Garnett.

3STEP Sports is the leader in grassroots basketball with 30 club and event operators. Each year 3STEP runs 615 basketball events featuring more than 50,000 teams and 500,000 participants. It will host several 3-on-3 events at its facilities next summer with more to be added later.

August 26-27 Best Choice Fieldhouse  – Fishers, IN

August 26-27 AIM Sports Group – Seal Beach, CA

September 2-3 Grapevine Fieldhouse – Grapevine, TX

September 16-17 : Hoop Group Headquarters – Neptune, NJ

Rosters in Hoop It Up tournaments can be up to five players and each team is guaranteed at least four games. Registration is now open for next summer’s events at www.hoopitup.com.

The 3STEP reach spans 43 states and serves more than 3.2 million athletes across nine sports through industry-leading events, nationally spanning club programs, premier media content and more. 3STEP was founded by David Geaslen, who sought to create better experiences and more opportunities for athletes and their families. The mission of 3STEP is to be the standard of the youth sports experience and create consistency in the industry.

3STEP also operates the non-profit charity Mission Win, which aims to transform the lives of children through sports participation, leadership training and professional development.
