3STEP Sports Adds to Expanding Baseball, Softball Divisions by Acquiring Prospects Athletics

WILMINGTON, Mass., Feb. 23, 2022 – 3STEP Sports, the most impactful youth sports ecosystem in the nation, has acquired Prospects Athletics, expanding its baseball and softball portfolio to include one of New England’s premier programs.
Prospects Athletics includes New Hampshire Prospects Baseball and Softball clubs, the Grizzlies Baseball Club and recently added New Hampshire Cannons baseball. The company was established in 2018 by founders Matt Bouchard and Jack Sweeney, who championed a program geared toward helping high-level players in New Hampshire and Northern New England play at the next level.
“We created this program to provide a great experience for the families while focusing on player development and helping players in any path they choose,” said Bouchard, the director of baseball operations. “We are thrilled to be joining 3STEP Sports to continue that mission.”
Prospects Athletics utilizes a state-of-the-art facility, The Sports Mill in Manchester, New Hampshire, maximizing nearly 18,000 square feet that features full turf access, the latest in high-level hitting and pitching technology, plus space for strength training and a full pro shop. Its baseball programs play out of the New Balance Select League, New England’s most competitive youth baseball league featuring more than 100 clubs, which is also part of 3STEP’s baseball ecosystem.
Prospects Athletics has expanded to offer opportunity to players of all ages and skill levels, ranging from its 8U developmental program to 18U.
