3STEP Sports Acquires Front Range Volleyball Club and Colorado Crossroads

ANDOVER, Mass. (November 6, 2023) – 3STEP Sports, the nation’s largest and most impactful youth sports club and event operator, has acquired Front Range Volleyball Club and Colorado Crossroads, adding Colorado’s premier volleyball club and one of the country’s longest running and most prestigious national tournaments to its stellar volleyball division.

Since 1981, Front Range Volleyball Club (FRVC) has been the leading volleyball program in the Denver metro area. Based in Englewood, Colorado, the Front Range Training Center offers FRVC athletes a premier youth sports experience with a state-of-the-art facility complete with four full volleyball courts, a weight room, training room and media room. Over the last 20 years, FRVC has won eight National Championship, with 250+ FRVC athletes receiving collegiate athletic scholarships, 50+ of whom went on to become collegiate All-Americans.

At the helm is Jim Miret who brings more than 30 years of coaching experience spanning from youth grassroots to the highest level of international play. Miret who has won three National Championships with FRVC, has also coached the USAV Youth, Junior and Olympic National team programs.

In addition to FRVC, Miret and his team operate Colorado Crossroads, one of the longest-running national volleyball tournaments in the country. Historically, more than 1,500 teams from 30+ states fill the Colorado Convention Center in downtown Denver. Crossroads will be held March 9 – 11, 2024 as another key national tournament in 3STEP’s Top Court Event Series.
